The hitbox would still collide with the wheels in that case, most likely not solving the issues

Ah that works too. I don’t personally use that constraint - so didn’t come to mind. But, that process should work for you.
In my games I don’t like players cars colliding with the car itself, other cars, or players & collision groups facilitate that easiest with the least set up for me
I want players to be able to collide into each other for my racing game because its more realistic and requires a bit more stratagem, involing more real world concepts.

I have made a big mistake, that formula was completely wrong, I meant to give this one, which shows that mass is p = proportional to the velocity of your object, in this case, your car. Thank you @MintSoapBar not sure what was going through my head
