How to make it so that people play as a StarterCharacter but

  1. What do you want to achieve? I want it so people spawn as a startercharacter BUT the startercharacter model inst in the starterplayer folder because i want to make it so that devs get a cool little skin but if the startercharacter is in the starterplayer folder it doesnt let devs spawn as the cool dev skin

  2. What is the issue? the startercharacter doesnt let the dev skin load in for devs

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far? we tried remaking the script and adding stuff to it but still doesnt work

“It still doesn’t work” isn’t enough information to determine your problem.

You should just make a generic StarterCharacter rig that’s applicable for all users in the game if you actually need to change the construct of the character rig (you probably don’t if it’s just appearance modification and not actual changes to the parts, rigging or otherwise). You can then attach the developer cosmetics to the rig if a developer spawns in.
