I’m trying to make my model stare at a player wherever they go. I don’t want the head to move but the whole body to. I have little to no knowledge in scripting so please try to explain it the best you can. If you want my discord, it is Frozen Watermelon#0001.
Recruitment? (30 charrrrrrrrrrsssssss)
No it doesn’t, he isn’t hiring anybody so why should it go in #collaboration:recruitment?
If you want to make a model face something, this post might help you.
I haven’t done this myself yet, so if you have any questions I can help you.
He wants to know how to script the head to make it move around where the camera is facing.
Alright, thanks. I’ll make sure to check it out.
Nope. Not the head but the whole body to face a player the entire time. When the player moves, the body of the model moves too so it faces the player. It’s the not player’s camera that moves but a model I put in. Bacon lives matter
Try changing the CFrame of the main part of the model, like so:
model.Part.CFrame = CFrame.new(model.Part.Position, game.Workspace["PlayerNameHere"].Head.Position)
I don’t know what a CFrame is. If you want to help me, can you friend my discord username and walk me through it so I understand?
Alright! I’ll friend you real quick and explain it to you!
Thank you so much! (30 charsssss)
Scripting support is mainly if you already started, you would provide the source code for what you started. Your asking someone to teach you/do it for you which is recruiting them to do a job for you.
Oh! Sorry! I thought you were talking about that!
I get what you’re saying but I think this post fits in with scripting support than recruitment.
This is a support category for help on everything related to scripting on the Roblox platform, from extremely basic to even the most technical of issues. Make sure to search the forum before creating a new topic, many beginner / learning resources have already been created, or maybe your problem has already been solved by someone else.
That is false if you read the about section.
