How to make/support games with no/small amounts of robux?

Appreciate it. Thanks for your help. :+1:

Try making a game with not much scripting needed, mainly focused on the map. For example, a hangout or a game that just lets players try out a cool mechanic.

There are two routes you can pursue here to achieve this:

As others have said I would suggest making the game solo by completing all the desired scripting and building by yourself. All be it this is a much more demanding method and will put a lot more strain on yourself but it can also be an incredibly rewarding experience and a good way to learn new skills such as programming.

Another thing you could do is look for a partner to work with. This could be a programmer or builder (someone who specialises in what your not that good at) and offer to work with them splitting the game profit/ownership 50/50 between you both. This can be a tedious task though as it will require you having to find a developer willing to do this but if you have a friend or someone you know that would be interested I would certainly suggest looking into this option.

I have two programming friends but they’re both not dedicated and just slack in the first few hours so I kind of struggle with this “partner” thing.

If that’s the case I would certainly recommend going down the route of making the game solo. However you could still use these friends as learning resources programming wise. Say you get stuck on something your friend may be able to help you out and provide some minor assistance where needed.
Hope this is able to help
