sorry for the very late response, for some reason i did not get a notification so i didn’t even know it existed until i accidentally stumbled on it again.
so maybe you should instead of using welds to put the steering wheel in place,
use the Motor6D joints for the entire car, so instead of the car being connected with welds and then the steering wheel with joints, the entire car with joints.
The joints act like welds. Replacing joints with welds would take forever, and it would be too much work to be a solution.
However, I have seen that regular welds aren’t going to do us any good, and that we should never use them.
I was using weld constraints the entire time, but I was thinking lately to use regular welds.

I used the Ik Kinematics video that Suphi made (the one you sent me) and this worked. Sorry for the unimaginably tardy reply, I just never got a chance to try this out. Inverse Kinematics are seriously underrated fr. Ty for all the help guys.
