You don’t need any quotation marks.

Also top tip for everyone, once you’ve created to the shortcut, pin it to the taskbar and it will automatically open the beta app, even after an update (desktop shortcut will still need to be updated)

Wdym? No matter what you do, the desktop shortcut will still need to be updated every Wednesday. Taskbar shortcuts are hosted in %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar, I’m not entirely sure if Roblox will update the taskbar shortcut automatically in Windows 11, considering IE got removed.

Also is copying the roblox icon to the desktop, then doing what you do to get the beta, and then, change the new icon name to something like “Beta app”, so roblox doesnt delete it when updating

This topic has been updated to include the better method.

If you don’t like the fact you always need to open it through the Roblox Player icon, then try the new method.

This new method also fixes the fact that you would get logged off randomly.

It works on Mac & Windows.

There is another way to do that, just spam create alts accounts, until one gets the banner like this: (mine is in spanish btw, it appears windows, but it will work for mac as its now added)

click that thing, then you will be on the beta, you can log out there then you can log in with your main

Its not exactly an ideal solution and it will only work 10-20% of the time straightaway.

But its a solution, the only as far i know, i just had to create 6 alts and then i got the beta, so its probably gonna be useful on mac

I think I did get it first try on two alts but still, this isn’t a great solution and I personally would like the option of both

I have tried the beta out, I like it to some extent and was exited when the announcement came out. However, if this new app doesn’t stand out from the website then there really is NO POINT in using this as the website will contain more features (like ‘Create’) :confused: It’s practically the windows store ver with some interface changes-

Is there any way to keep the windows app beta while playing a game through the website? Like I don’t want to have to run the Roblox app on my desktop just to play a new game on the beta app.

It doesn’t work for some people, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t. Right now I have suspicions of what exactly the scenario needs to be for it to work.

I need help from people who haven’t accessed or received access to this menu at all, so for anyone reading this, if you can send me a DM so we can do some testing that would be of great help! However, if you have accessed the menu before in any circumstances, then I can’t do any of testing I would like to.

Hello, How do i change from roblox beta menu to the old menu even i delete the roblox beta app and disable it but the menu kept appear like it won’t stop. I already fixed it to the old menu but that thing didn’t help me bc the menu still appear if i play others game or change accounts. I don’t really like the roblox beta menu…bc of the sensitivity.

( The menu kept open even i was on roblox website. )

Hi, is there a way to get back the beta app? There was an outage recently and i had to reinstall roblox, but now the app is gone.

I still can open it with the method #2, but not when i join games through the website, like it used to do.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Quick note: I did join the beta with the banner in the website, but now it doesnt appear
