How would I create a bird that I could animate later (such as idle animation, walking)

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I want to create a bird mesh/character that could be placed in a world and cycle between different modes (idle, walking), kind of like AI but in a cage.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    I’m not sure how I would get along animating the individual parts of the bird, and not sure how to make it properly (what software, etc)

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    I tried out some tutorials on making a bird from a reference photo in Blender, none about character animation. I have no idea if this is even the proper way.

I’m trying to create a game where you can sell birds, etc.
