How would I detect if a GUI collides with another GUI?

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
What I want to achieve is to find out when 2 or more GUI elements are colliding with each other.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
I can’t find out how to implement this into my code, and all the other ways I’ve done it have not worked.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
What I’ve tried is looking on YouTube, I actually found something that was what I was looking for, but it was outdated. I’ve looked on the forums and didn’t find anything.

Please do not write entire scripts or design entire systems for me.

Thank you!

This is great! But how would I make the player stop moving in that direction without stopping all controls altogether?

I am not quite sure how to do this. I think it would be pretty complicated, since you would have to mess with roblox’s bindings. You should make separate post on this topic, and see if anyone else knows any ways to do this.
