HTTP Service & Catalog API

I am looking for some places to learn how to use HTTP service so that I can use and learn how to use the catalog API for my game. IS there anywhere or anyone that can help direct in the right direction to my problem? I have tried researching some places but all of the tutorials are either out of date or do not work.

Making an in-game Avatar Editor

Hey there, I was wondering how I would go about making an in game avatar editor. Basically, what way would be the best way of doing it? Somehow adding the items from the catalog automatically (is this even possible?) Adding the items manually I’m not sure if the first option is even possible, let me know if it is, and if so, how I would go about doing it with that method.
