I am confused with CFrames

I am confused on CFrames

I don’t understand why there are 9 values to describe the orientation. Can someone please explain this or link a video that explains this?

I understand that the first 3 values are Position.

I have used CFrames but never questioned why there are 9 values to describe orientation.

I can’t really find any other topic relating to this question.

Here’s a good post, basically the 9 values are the matrix of the orientation and 3 values are the matrix of the Position. (whatever that means)
