Donations help the algorithm and also help me advertise.
And frankly, I do not care if anyone thinks it is a cash grab. My main goal was, and will always be, to help as many people as I can. If people think it’s to make a few extra bucks, that does not matter.
I think everyone always assumes everything about each other anyway, so I only do what I think is best for myself and others.
If the main goal is truly to help people, why does it matter if the game gets boosted in the algorithm? Wouldn’t the impact of the message itself be enough?
By the way, I do kind of agree that it is a very simple message, but I think the way that how the speaker says it is what makes it actually good. “Staking your life to get what you want” sounds cool and memorable, doesn’t it? And he seems like a genuine, fun, happy guy.
I actually was going to make a game with one of my own messages, but Roblox is adding an update where they will remove support for computers that don’t reach the specific specs, mine being one of them. My game was too ambitious to be made so I was forced to resort to smaller games like this one.
You have inspired me to think of ways I can use my wisdom to help others.
One way you can make the message less generic is by showing instead of telling.
Like you can have the character face a struggle instead of the character telling you they care. You can show people you care by showing them you understand their struggle.
You also have to make sure to do so in a way that is not insensitive. A lot of people see stuff like this as controversial because they feel it is inauthentic and virtue signaling.
There was a problem with the donation board’s DataStore, can anyone send me the full module script? There should be a line on the bottom that says the line of code you need to add donators the DataStore.
Does anyone have any feedback or suggestions for the multiplayer part? I want it to remain connected with the mountain things, but I feel like it’s lacking something.
