Ideas for game's baseplate

I have been working on a low-poly baseplate island for my game, here is the finished product:

But i don’t know if i should leave it like that, i mean, every round in my game will give a different style for the baseplate (Desert, Forest, Etc.)

Well, i want to add something else to this baseplate.
