This place contains about 1.2 or so billion voxels. It was close to 2 billion voxels but I actually cut back on some of the terrain as it was unneeded and caused long load times.
I’m actually a bit reluctant to make the map any smaller than this. I doubt I would be able to reduce the map size any further than this and achieve the game dynamic I’m looking for.
Also splitting it up into different places without any seamless place loading would also go against the dynamic. If this is still being worked on and improved, I’d be very grateful if an engineer could check it out.
