Inquiry about 17+ Experiences rules

I had some question regarding the rule on gambling, it states the exchange of real money or robux or virtual chips is not allowed, my game contains many minigames that are gambling related, such as blackjack or poker, the currency used to play these games cannot be acquired using real money, Now, would this be allowed, and if not, how is it diffrent from any other form of MiniGames or whatever, the currency used to gamble isn’t of value either, its the same currency you use to purchase items in game, my game is completely unmonitized though, nobody would lose any amount of real world money.

Doesn’t the Community Standards say that:

“We allow unplayable gambling content (e.g., showing a casino or non-playable characters playing cards) as well as games of luck and chance that are not casino or gambling based”

Since blackjack or poker is pretty much a casino/gambling based games that involves “luck and chances”, I would take it as no, it isn’t allowed.

Well i mean, is the problem with the fact it’s a game played in casinos, or is it the money gambling aspect, also how would a game of luck and chance not be gambling based?, like where is the line drawn?, cause if the problem is it’s a game played in a casino coulnd’t i just rename it and modify the rules so it’s technically not a game played in a casino

I tried to search up on potential answers, and came across this:

It is permitted in some extents. Essentially, there must be no Robux involved in the process. No gambling using Robux, and no gambling using any in-game currency that can be bought with Robux. You should probably use the Policy API as well to restrict certain features if you’re planning on making this type of game. Here’s a better response from another thread about the same topic:

Sorry about my earlier response, but I think it should be alright, as long as the currency earned cannot be purchased through Robux or real-life money.

As the poster of that response, I can confirm that the information stated there and around the same topic is outdated.

There have been recent policy changes on Roblox regarding simulated gambling. Roblox has officially announced that simulated gambling will be banned by September 18th, 2023, which is within a few months from now. This means that all forms of gambling, regardless of whether Robux is involved or not, will no longer be allowed on the platform. Essentially, no forms of gambling will be tolerated.

I would strongly advise reading the Create Experiences for People 17 and Older on Roblox thread that contains more details about upcoming and recent policy changes.
