It seems like encouraging players in our games to get premium isn’t going to be worth it anymore.
Overall, it seems like a lot of games are going to be making a lot less money. However, I do see the platform “healing” by not rewarding “afk-engagement” gameplay patterns anymore; where games would encourage players to leave their computer running 24/7 for rewards.
I’m optimistic, but I’d like to see a comparison of how much a game might’ve made with engagement-payouts vs creator rewards.
