As a regular of the devforum, why should I use this service instead of just creating or reading a ‘now hiring post’, you haven’t provided much reason to use this besides the fact that’s in Discord.
On the topic of background checks, how deep would these checks go? Because I dont think someone who strictly handles commission requests in Discord and nowhere else would be easy to verify the legitimacy of, unless they released private DMs.
TL0 users (visitors) can send DMs to request services from another developer, even if they do not have posting powers on the base forum.
I really, really don’t recommend joining. This was easily hacked by one of my friends back in the days, don’t join this is extremely stupid. The entire concept of stealing DevForums members is really stupid.
Sorry if this sounds rude, but all your chairmans / other roles got hacked in August.

I have a good question. Why should I use this server over Hidden Developers?
I mean, this is a good concept and idea, and I’m not trying to show hate, but I feel that Hidden Developers is way more safer, and also has more middlemen, as well as more developers to trade with.
Keep in mind: Hidden Developers is a partnered server on discord, indicating they are more trusted. That is why I would most likely trade in that server.
Albeit, yes, it’s a popular server, which means more scammers will be inbound when trading, but that’s what middlemen are for. And how can I exactly trust that your staff are good middlemen? That’s the thing.

The server was just not, “Hacked” our bot’s token was leaked from a former founder for 10k robux. And, when did we every say we are trying to steal “DevFourm” members, if this is what we are trying to do I doubt this post would still be open publicly on DevForum. The server has been restored and is fine now.
No rudeness was done, this is fairly your thinking and your opinion, we are not asking you to use Hidden Developers or Developer Spawn, we are providing a alternative if wanted for Developers, where we do other things such as host events. I do agree Hidden Developer is also safer, but they we’re also once a small server like we are, and everyone has to grow from somewhere.

How do you know that these “middleman” will do their job correctly? Are they well trained, do they seem trustable, etc? Anybody with that title can easily steal work from each party. Also, anyone can claim to be a developer, it’s not hard to do.
I like your concept and do see potential in this, however, there is a lot of things that need to be fixed.
No offence, but if you want to sell people on this you’re gonna have to offer more explanation than “we are providing an alternative”. A: They are required to verify using “Bloxlink” a Roblox Discord verification bot, and we kick all accounts under the age of 30 days.

A: Everyone starts from somewhere, Hidden Developers was once a small group and had to grow there population with people feeling the same way you are, but now they have over 20k members.

A: Again, if you do not feel safe using middleman, then you do not have to our group is not about acquiring a middleman it is just one of our offers.

A: Every group and organization starts from somewhere, it is up to you if you want to join or not HD, and all the other groups once had to start from the beginning like us. Every place starts of sketchy and questioned, but they have to do what they can do grow there community.

The middlemen have to read a document and have standardized tests once in a while to assure they know how to handle different situations, we do not let anyone be a middleman they have to apply for the position and we check their activity in other communities, and DevForum to be sure they are a nice candidate for the job.
