@RoxyBloxyy The community have been left in the dark for over a year on this update, this post even appears as the first developer article of developer.roblox.com, yet still isn’t fully released (no uploading videos). It seems as if other features only coming into beta now (such as facial animations) will come out fully before videos, which is unutterly disgraceful (I’m not trying to offend the dev team working on this).

It’s been over a year since this post was published, I was really looking forward to this being rolled out en masse for us to upload our own videos, I hope it’s still coming but it seems that a few more “recent” features are going to launch before this one does?

I think Roblox just completely forgot about this when they decided to release display names, age verification, spatial voice and etc… To be frank with you, I forgot that this existed as well.

Are there any updates on this system? It’s been a year since we got something new from what I can tell; it would be great if we could release actual videos across the platform. Especially with the installment of other age group filters.

I’m wondering the same thing too. I’m waiting for them to allow users to upload their own videos, and also waiting for them to improve optimization when adding videos to your experience.

Hey! Are we getting any new information on this feature? It has been nearly 2 years and we haven’t had any update on when we will be able to upload our own videos. We see them used in Events so you haven’t forgotten about them but we would just like to have some more information as of an estimate release date or something.

I have one issue with this and it’s the grey video bug. I’m not sure if this is playable only on games but whenever I try to test in the studio, I see just grey on the video.

When is the video preview going to release on the website?
People keep saying “/e play” for it to play, but it does not do anything.
And people are getting annoyed by these comments, so when is it going to release?

Make sure “Playing” is set to true.
Make sure the video ID is correct.
You can set “Looped” to true if you want it to be looped.
