Sure!
Which side of the glass looks better? The darker or the lighter?
Okay, I will try that!! Sounds great!
The lighter one looks better. All you need to do is make the color lighter and make it more transparent
Darker, I’d say.
Because both of you have a different opinion, is there a better color in between?
Those are the options.
I would use white or a light grey, as those are the most commonly used colors for glass.
Okay, sounds great! Thank you so much!
I wouldnt make it so the entire cafe is made out of glass, just personal preference. You can get more detail if you use more than 1 texture.
Okay, thanks for the advice. Hm, I love that idea. Wonderful!
Also, I just made a new post about the cafe in general. Could you give me some feedback on that?
I think you should reduce the width of the glass and other parts to make them look slimmer.
Hm, Okay! Thanks!
I know this has been solved already, but I want to get this out here before you decide that making/using a lot of glass unnecessarily is good. Using too much glass will cause to much Reflection/Refraction calculations and can heavily affect user performance. I recommend using 0.9 transparency on plastic, but if your only using glass for the walls and nothing else, this shouldn’t be much of an issue. Just talking from personal experiences/findings. Something to be aware of
Okay, thank you.
You may want to use it for either windows or to give it a define view of the interior of the cafe. Try to not use it for the entire wall structure, as it would look bland and ruin the style your wanting.
Try to not make everything the same color nor material. If you look at reference images of cafes it would help you develop a style and layout design, there isn’t cafes that just feature one material! It should define the style and theme your going for try to break it up and use it when needed like for (windows door entrance ect).
Always have a few images by your side to gather ideas and inspiration from as it would help you get the correct layout and proper elements.
Okay, I appreciate it!
I recommend making the glass dark(maybe black) and more transparent and the glass being more pieces instead of a big one along
Alrighty, thanks for the feedback!
I will try this!!
Hi! Glass is good for cafe walls but try to change the transiency to .75 or .5 but also don’t take the glass too wide. Making the glass too wide gives users the ability to see the wall from all angles. In my preference, this doesn’t look as good. Hope this helps!
Ok, thank you!
I will keep that in mind!
