Oh ok, but each model has two unions in it. 2000x2 is 4000.
Yeah something like that. Exactly what I am going for.
Study the video. You see how the trees are taller, the terrain has a rugged/mossy feel to it, and thereās a layer of fog? Try and recreate that feeling with those elements first.
Yeah ok, and also do you recommend using terrain or a baseplate? And do you have any tree making plugins of somesort?
I usually use the baseplate to build individual models, as it contrasts well. For terrain, it again depends. Sometimes the best route is the Blood and Iron route (that game has simplistic but decent terrain), and sometimes I go another direction. A good terrain plugin, imo, would be build v4. It has a nice terrain feature that helps me out for certain builds.
I donāt use any tree-maker plugins. For a forest, I make 2-3 handmade tree archetypes and use those.
Ok, thank you for the help man. Much appreciated. God bless.
Thanks and good luck! Practice makes perfection
Want to point out here, unions donāt reduce part count as there still is the same amount of 'part data. I would say stick to grouping the parts as complex unions sometimes cause more lag.
My bad. I didnāt know that. Thank you for telling me.
