I have been using roblox studio for the past few years but I prefer to use F3X mainly for the snap feature where you can snap part of an object to another by just dragging it example:
It works if you use any of the tools.
Go to the Models tab and there’s a box with a checkbox next to it with the word Move. Make sure there’s a check in the box. The value should be at 1 but you can change the value to whatever you want.
If you left click and drag the Part in the workspace to any other Part it will snap to that Part on the increments you have in the value box above.
To select an individual Part that’s in a Model you can use Alt and left click to select it so you can use the Studio tools with it. If you want to drag it manually use Alt and left click but don’t let go of the mouse button and drag the Part with the mouse.
That is something I didn’t know you could do but I meant more like instead of using the arrow keys you just drag one corner to another without using the arrows, if I misunderstood I apologise.
What arrows in Studio?
If you move a Part it will move based between where you ‘grabbed’ the item with the left mouse button and whatever Part surface is behind it.
So if you click on a Part with the left mouse button at the corner of the Part and drag it over a WedgePart it will align the first Part’s corner with whatever surface of the wedge is behind the mouse arrow you have on the Part.
Here’s a post about it from last year: Say hello to the new Lua dragger (Beta)
