Working on a small classic-style showcase to get back into the groove of building with studs n stuff.
It’s supposed to be isolated and is going to have shadow figures around, blah blah blah. Made it because I felt slightly off recently.
It’s not released yet, just wanting to gauge what people think so far. Thanks!

the build itself is insanely good.
clearly lots of detail pretty much everywhere and is very satisfying to look at.
although I suggest working on the lighting a bit more. it’s kind of lacking the “isolated” ambience that it seems you’re going for. try increasing contrast, exposure, play around with brightness, etc.
Yeah, I’ve always lacked some experience with lighting, I’ll definitely play around with it though!

I know you’re going for a classic style but I genuinely think it would look incredible if you contrasted the building style and materials with some very realistic lighting, I’m talking volumetric godrays. I feel like that contrast would make the style pop in an amazing way. Love the building though!
This classic style showcase looks INSANELY GOOD! Great job on creating it! How long did it take for you to make all of this? Will you use it in anything?

I’ve been doing classic builds for a while, I’ve got an old version of Studio 2013 too mess around with for most of my (unreleased and not finished) projects.
(For clarity, I wasn’t making builds back in 2013 btw I would’ve been like, 10 or 11 years old lol. I got this version of studio a couple years ago from some archive or something.)
This is awesome! I’ve been doing classic build showcases for many years now and this is really impressive. Is there a way we can visit this place? I’d love to check it out
It’s not released yet, haven’t had time to update it because of work 
I plan to get back to it today though! It’s not supposed to be a super grand build or anything
