Hello everyone. A similar question has been asked many times on devforum, but mine is a bit different.
How do i make a player conserve their momentum when jumping on a moving object. The usual answer is doing it like jailbreak did it, but this will not work for me. This is because my moving object is an unanchored object that moves by forces. It is a ship.
The newer beta character controller should do what you described.
Otherwise you will need to make your own and have the players velocity the same as the surface of the characters feet through raycasting and such after jumping.
