Kicked from own game with reason: DO NOT OBFUSCAT

Actually I just had this problem today! I looked for require and saw that a beach chair w/ umbrella free models had it, and along with some pink vibe trees. After I removed them, the same kick message was gone for me.

Funny enough I spent 1 hour thinking it was the basketball…

Finally looked for require and figured a simple tree and beach chair model shouldn’t and didn’t need the require scripts, I removed them. This is probably not a plugin, but a malicious free model

OMG!!! I put in a free model beach chair so I could re-model it, I bet thats it. Let me look!

No, that did not fix it. Any other ideas?

Ctrl + F in the workspace, search for script and a list of all scripts in the workspace should appear. Delete the ones you know you do not need or are not supposed to be there.

How do I delete them? I would need to locate them in the explorer, how do I delete them from the CTRL + F

Doing Ctrl + F in the explorer (I meant explorer instead of workspace, my bad) shows all the scripts in the game. Right click on any you think is suspicious and delete them.

Rule of thumb, never use free models. Or, if you need to, just delete every script that comes with them.

Wdym…

Where do I do CTRL F? I did it and nothing happened

Just booted up Studio and to my surprise it’s not actually Ctrl-F to search in the explorer. Sheesh, how embarrassing.

There should be a search bar in your explorer. Simply type “script” in the search bar and all the scripts in the game, local, module and server should appear.

No worries. Sounds good! Let me look tomorrow morning…

getfenv is another method for bytecode aka could be used for require hiding.

I would search in explorer to find any scripts and check through them, if you find any scripts you dont recognize, do Ctrl + F and search for keywords that were in the kick popup

So, I found TONS of settings and scripts called “DataStoreY”

I removed them and it fixed the problem. TYSM
