Consider making camera shakes always impactful, regardless of distance. Adding screen flashes (brief bursts of light effects), sound effects, Hitmarkers that change color based on the hit, and particle effects during critical hits.
Yeah, that’s something that I didn’t consider, I also got bugged after I went to the developer console and was stuck with holding the grenade, I couldn’t release it and died but this may have also been caused by something else.
That is a weird thing to happen… perhaps something to do with the input processing? I’ll look into it.
Yeah, it isn’t all that easy. Regarding the game length, I will try to get some players who are not too familiar with the game to play while I time their run. This game will be mostly built around the bosses, making it a “Boss Rush” style, so I do not want to get the time too low. I will make some adjustments. Thank you for your input!
