Re-doing the documentation site once again, this time I’m using VitePress instead of Moonwave which looks way nicer:
I’m also adding videos to most doc pages per request of @CmdrRaine

idk what a canary engine is but that website looks proffesional sheesh, good work.
CanaryEngine is a framework which combines the usage of BridgeNet2 and GoodSignal modules which helped optimization and it comes with other libraries such as BlueSerializer and etc.
You can read all this:
though I am just providing you the point
lolmansReturn if it’s copying the OP then let me know about that
Also I like that im replying to another acocunt with “VSCPlays”
The thing is I still dont understand why someone should use canary engine, what exactly does it makes easier. And what does it really do? Does it just optimize networking and events?
Brilliant mate, that will really help people get started.
@VSCPlays
@CmdrRaine (no videos yet, but ill be working on that next)
After a whole month of development, CE4 is finally released. Checkout the changelog on our new stylish site: Changelog | Canary Docs
Is this recommended to a beginner or do they need more experience
Well in the title it says Engine and framework.
“Engine” is a part of the name “CanaryEngine”
It is a framework though
Are you familiar with single script structure?, if so I think you could start using this.
Yes, you can use any setup you want really.
Updated the discord server a little bit, feel free to join once again if you’re a user.
Big structure changes are in the work.
It’s not too complicated to use honestly, if you know basic scripting you’ll learn in fairly quick
Could you elaborate as to why bridgenet was removed?
It’s unreliable in a few areas and Red enforces better practices on the developer.
Our API will now adapt to using tuples, which means if you use :Fire("ddasdas") -- w/o table
you may be affected. This will not longer return a table with that item inside, and instead the string itself.
Please make sure you’re ready for this change, thank you!
Been working on a few major changes recently, v4 is probably the best update yet.
View the entire changelog here, it’s not released just yet but will be by this weekend!
Canary 5 has been released, comes with a new bug free plugin and a new even more lightweight framework to build on. Have fun!
Is it worth switching from Knit?
