As you can see in the video I have attached below, group info is now largely hidden behind a “more” option. This adds extra friction to access group information and social links, which are important for building communities.
This problem occurs on both the website (Chrome) and in the universal app
It would be preferable if this information was accessible without having to press a “more” button, especially when the information gets cut off after half a sentence.
Not to mention, this completely breaks the flow of the text that was originally written, as seen here.

They don’t care. They changed it to truncate at one line instead of two… I don’t think they want descriptions taking up a large sum of the page space, which is disappointing

Unfortunately, as stated in the Topic Linked above, that is indeed the intended behaviour, and there aren’t any immediate plans to change it.
Hopefully, there will be a chance to revisit these topics in the future, but in the meantime, this topic shall be closed.
