After replying to his latest post saying that he was the one who replied first and telling him to stop rage-baiting the post got flagged and taken down by the devforum moderator even tho it was correct and there were multiple pieces of evidence to back the claims
Do also note that even the youngins are not using the forum correctly:
it still doesnt give people rights to be rude and exploit moderation by false flagging every post that call them out for their bad behaviour if somebody is breaking the rules you can just flag it and they will probably understand their mistake and not do it again
So that’s not making it more strict, but more careful and attentive.
having warnings save for year would most likely reduce toxicity because as of right now people only get warnings its impossible to get banned from devforum unless you do something really bad and ive seen alot of people abuse that and do stuff like making post designed to rage bait and etc
when it comes to off topic posts you can just flag it and the post will be privated by a moderator and the author of the reported post will get a private message by a moderator explaining what they did wrong
Strikes, as they used to call them, aren’t given anymore for some reason. They do for sure need them back
Only thing I don’t like about this is how you got warning. If it counts ANY then it will be bad. When I was new to devforum, it took a while to understand what category which I need use, especially at edge-cases where it can go both in art and game design. Creating off-topics constantly is also bad, but uh, this will make newbies afraid of posting their problems.
But overall this feature is really needed.
It’s no use buddy, stricter forum rules should’ve been implemented years ago. It never happened despite the many lamentations posted by people like yourself.
Combined with the mass influx of new users, the Devforums have been replaced as the go-to Roblox Forum. I suspect that somewhere along the line, the Devforums are going to be beyond able to be adequately moderated. Its removal will be imminent as was the faith for the regular Roblox forums.
So you are going to call out many people including me for their “crimes” according to you.
Not to mention, you have done such things as well. So, why not mention them?

I would just make one point, if I say something then I say it after putting some time into thinking it. Most of the time, I do not randomly spit out stuff that don’t make sense, at least now I don’t.
It’s also worth noting that the “solution” you provided is extremely biased!
The best way to make moderation better is to add more moderators into the existing moderation team.
As of now, there are only 7 moderators.

Which is extremely low as compared to how many topics are being made each day on the forum and how many replies are generated each hour.
ive been using devforum for quite while and ive seen you argue and be rude to others quite often all of the claims i have made are true
that wasnt aggressive i was just saying thanks to people who were being productive and actually contributed to the post
it is indeed dead because all the stable executors cost 20$ a month and one of the biggest forums got sold what killed marketplace even more
that was in 2017 now its 2024 the tech has advanced since than like i have also mentioned before theres people who create off topic posts dedicated to rage bait and than report everyone who call them out and i doubt “warnings” will do anything if theres no actual proper punishment
Clearly, either you mistook 99% of my topics or just decided to see only the extremely few topics I made where I was being rude and said that “this is enough to harass and call out a person!”
I tend to use sarcasm quite rarely in my posts and using sarcasm. I tend to use it when someone has either done something pretty dumb or someone is just arguing a lot, like you here.
It’s also worth noting that I am not the one who always starts the argument. Like for example, here. I am not asking for an argument here, no. You are the one who is spiking it even more.
I just stated in that post that you should also mention the misinformation and rudeness that you spread on the forum in addition to what I and others have done. As if you don’t then it would just make you look extremely bad and just biased.

Then, we have the memers (sorry), and the ones that don’t contribute anything, like Citadel girl.
The DevForum requires that you be at least 13 years old; many people on the DevForum lied about their age so that they can become a Member. This means we have a lot of younger and immature people all on one forum.
I think the age requirement should be higher OR there needs to be more strict requirements to become a DevForum Member.
Moderation on the DevForum could use a little improvement but the overall problem is what I just described.

My assumption was correct, you are misunderstanding words.
This is not even that rude? I am simply stating that the platform is indeed in shambles and that there are a lot of underaged dumb people on the forum making spam topics.
