Making a spring not affect physics

Hello, I am trying to achieve a spring effect as shown in this video, and was wondering how I could achieve a spring like effect without it affecting the physics of a player. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s possible without calculating CFrame from a specific point and applying that said result to the character’s torso.

Is there a way to make a beam coil such as a spring?
