Measure the player's CPU for optimizing Parallel Luau

hey, don’t sweat it. I think it is very possible that Roblox doesn’t utilize more than 8 cores… my theory would be proven right if this behavior is consistent for multiple machines with more than 8 cores

28 cores? Are you running a server CPU or something? Or did you mean to say threads?

So i played the live demo and it said i have 8 Cores though i have intel core i3-2375m(2 cores, 4 threads, 1.5GHZ), so i think the module isn’t working.

Show me what the microprofiler looks like. Also the timings are all over the place; the average should be ~0.02 but in your case it’s at ~0.04.

I’ve updated the live test place such that it will continue testing up until 32 Actors and is now uncopylocked. This should give more information about what’s happening. I’ve also reworded a few things in there to avoid confusion in the long term.
