Another day, another skinned r15 bundle removed!
For the love of god please stop stifling the potential of UGC packages with this god awful requirement and rethink the situations in which it should be mandatory. At least let 2D clothing appear on top of the modesty layer.

Roblox really needs to do better when it comes to modesty layers, there’s absolutely no good reason to take down perfectly fine bundles that are correctly uv-mapped. This is getting ridiculous and it seems like moderation doubles down every time someone brings this issue up. Do you want your userbase to use new website features like layered clothing and UGC bundles? This isn’t how you do that.
there’s a very, very obvious reason why a large portion of the playerbase sticks to bundles released before UGC. Forcing your userbase to use your new features specifically how you want them to be used only pushes people away from them. Developing these features just to stifle their usability is simply a waste of time and money. Do better.

It has been so many years and every time roblox adds anything new it just makes the dated moderation practices far, far worse.
Like what the actual hell? It was never good. Roblox has consistently had objectively some of the most lackluster, abusive, downright broken moderation practices of any online game, and they have done seemingly nothing to actually improve it over the years. Like nothing at all, as far as we can tell.

Is 2D Clothing actually fine now or is the modesty crap still turning it’s ugly head
bumping, I’m so frustrated I nearly got banned for uploading a bundle (flat chested) without a modesty layer… sorry I don’t want an ugly black bar across the 2D clothing? Makes no sense and looks horrible…

It is very frustrating to find something that does not have a modesty layer.
And even more frustrating that my r15 characters doesn’t work on R6 games (which is the majority of games I play.)

the two things stopping me from using custom bundles are:
- no r6
- the modesty layer makes you look like Captain Underpants with all clothing unless its the same color

Very true. As previous users have highlighted in this thread as well, Modesty layers on bundles designed for 2D clothing hinder their use significantly. I have little programming experience but I believe that an extremely simple fix could just be this:

Determine whether or not a bundle is designed for mainly 2d or 3d clothing. This can be either a manual selection by the uploader or determined by ROBLOX Moderation (unlikely)

On bundles designed for 2d clothing, disable the modesty layer automatically upon classic clothing being applied.
I have little programming experience but I would hope that a change like this is not too difficult to make.
I kindly urge ROBLOX to see to this issue and understand the profound impact it is having on this platform’s creative ability, particularly those like me who are long-time players that prefer a more “Classic” or “Retro” look to our avatars. If not for the players, then for the profit; I can assure you that bundle sales will skyrocket if this issue is addressed.

They should MANUALLY… NOT BOT. review each bundle, if its something like a hyper realistic person a modesty layer should be required however more abstract characters should just have the basic clothing system like roblox made bundles
