With this studio setting disabled, pressing play and then stop seems to disable the typing sounds.
I am not very familiar with this beta feature. After enabling it and disabling the setting shown in your screenshot, I played on a test place, and the typing sounds continued to work fine for me. Did you get any errors in the output?
I restarted studio and this doesn’t seem to happen anymore.
One other thing: with the volume sliders if you’re holding the mouse button and move your mouse away from it the slider keeps moving with your mouse. (tried to record a video but the plugin didn’t show up in it)
Thank you for the report!
Just updated the plugin with a fix, it should have resolved this issue with all existing sliders in the plugin.
Why is the plugin updating so much right now? Is it just fixes for the bugs or are you gonna add something?
W UPDATE BRO, this makes the keyboard sounds sound so much better! (add custom typing sounds)
The sliders are a bit hard to drag for some reason, and there should be a reset to default button.
Thank you!
I plan to add the custom typing sound feature later. Stay tuned!
Just updated the plugin to fix that issue.
Thank you for the report!
Great update. Now it for some reason started saving my settings…?
I think the equalizer is a bit much, but if you want it here you have it!
Suggestion, Pitch, Speed and Equalizer for Musics and Ambients
For no reason in particular, you should add custom themes and background images, such as being able to select and change this small keyboard detail in the background that I never even noticed until now, the color of the background, colors of unselected/selected buttons, sliders, etc
not really essential but still cool to be able to personalize the plugin like you can do with moon animator
I’m glad to see the support by Roblox for smaller plugin developers. This is a major W with MoodBlox being up here within the first 9 days of existing.
Best plugin I’ve ever used in my entire life no cap.
Hello bro, regarding my suggestion. Of playing the music while testing. Can’t you store the music name or ID in a string value and then load it after clicking “Run”
That encourages me to make my own plugin. I am making a 2d game rn. And I think making a plugin to make levels will make life easier. It will have both manual and procedural generation. Also I apologize for kinda getting out of topic here (which is talking Abt the plugin)
Hey there,
Apologies for the lack of updates. No update this time, just some news.
When I first started developing this plugin, I didn’t think I would even add more things like pitch range, sound effects, custom music and etc. I thought I would publish and leave it as is, no updates whatsoever. Yet, with people coming in with their kind feedback and awesome suggestions, I just couldn’t bring myself to not oblige and add things to the plugin.
There’s just too much stuff going on in the plugin. Everything is piled up into one messy script with over 1300 lines of code.
If I knew, that I would add more things, or make any drastic changes to the plugin, I would have structured it differently to be used long-term. So, while re-scripting the entire thing is not off the plate, I don’t really wanna do it. Maybe some time later, along with implementing unadded suggestions, in a distant future with a better mindset.
commentssssss:
@CerruhhPro123, thank you. I am happy the issue is resolved for you. I agree with you on the sound effects, haha.
@TimeFrenzied, as much as I would love to add that—and believe me, I would—I really can’t do that. For the reasons I stated above.
And I am so sorry I have to break the promise of adding the custom typing sounds. At this point, it just seems impossible to add. The code is so messy, I would rather create a new plugin, haha.
Thank you for your support and comments. It means a lot to me, really.
@SharkRayMaster, thank you!
@kaya1233333, thank you for using the plugin and leaving your comments, it means the world lot to me. And, sadly, this is another suggestion I cannot make. I am sorry.
@Balousa1122, hey there! Firstly, thank you so much for leaving such a positive and kind comment.
Secondly, I tried adding your suggestion. And while it seemed easy at first, I quickly learned it was anything but. I might pick this up later. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll certainly give it another shot when time permits.
Thirdly, best of luck with your own plugin—if you end up making one—and your 2d game.
With that said, thank you for taking your time to read this. I'll see you around :)
nws! After trying myself, I also saw how hard it is to actually get it to work
This plugin blew up quick, nice to see lots of support for a free plugin
Yeah, roblox featured it, it’s sad that it won’t really be getting updated lol, this is one of the rare cases where I believe a plugin should become paid
No worries! Good luck in the future!
