Black bar on Android needs to be manually hidden after using chat

Ok, this is a very minor problem, but I thought I might as well post it anyway. Device: Nexus 6P OS: Android 6.0.1 Steps: Use chat Send message Black navigation bar stays on screen even after keyboard goes away. Swipe down from the top to access notifications/settings, then swipe back up to remove the black bar.
