My game look boring

I would suggest to create different levels with different themes, such as jungle, snow, lava, etc. You could also add some decorations on the islands to create a better feeling of the environment based on the level/theme. Good luck with your game! :slightly_smiling_face:

but, you don’t earn levels, you go to the next level.
and I don’t want this game to be too competitive ether, and besides, I don’t think I have the level to do that.

Just make the spawn invisible. Why would you need to have the spawn visible?

that is for the look, and I mean spawn area, not the spawn point

Just add some brick terrain to the sides and decorate it with trees.

If possible, I’d like to build you a NEW spawn and do some recolor (It’s okay if you don’t want me to go into your studio, I’ll just import it to you with f3x importer)

Looks great! Now the higher you go the platforms you could add clouds below your feet

I would make an island where there is something to discover, where there are secrets and a few houses.

I think it looks repetitive since it’s related to the theme/style adventurous games with a little fantasy in it normally feature more details surrounding the areas perhaps include some more useful objects like more floating islands connected to it, as it’s something you’ll see in a few decent games.

I’d also suggest adding other types of objects rather than just trees placed throughout the whole spawn area. Maybe you could change things up add larger islands connected to the spawn point to let players venture off the majority something that would fit the current theme. Perhaps make the bottom of the spawn point feature terrain with some additional details, there’s much you can do just don’t overdo with the details.

If your losing ideas on what to add brainstorm some or view reference images to help guide you with adding the proper details related to the theme setting.

How about improving it by making that island itself as the main lobby. Then you can make different islands of different themes and sizes.

Also you wanna make sure that you have a voting system that players can vote on to choose which island to go for.

Add some progression bars: exp, cash, level, etc

Try working on some finer detail of the islands.

How about leaderboards, global leaderboards, etc…

So, its more-or-less going to look similar to a round system type of game.

Hope it helps and good luck!

yeah, but what is the proper details? that’s what I’m asking here

It looks much better now. The Middle Baseplate looks a little bland so try adding more detail like grass, trees, rocks, etc. Anything you like.

Please, I’m not talking about game design, I’m talking about the aesthetic.

Depends fantasy styles normally feature around having different elements, such as fantasy builds- castles - and many more (I’m not too experienced with that sort of style so take this with a grain of salt) I’m curious it has a bit of a medievalism theme set into it. If you read my first response I’m referring to using reference images or take a look at existing known games with the two themes to add those important details/ideas.

If there was a simple, idea that could be added to your spawn area, placing larger floating islands connected to the current one featuring vegetation details and building structures the area could be much more interesting. While it’s fine at the start I feel like the objects that are being added don’t really resemble the theme your going for you could be creative and gather different ideas from images to add to the ‘spawn area’.
