Negative Union acts weirdly

~ Hello! ~

I'm trying to make a batten wall type of thing, and I used negative parts to achieve this. The thing is when I do unionize it with another part, it has these weird left-overs:

I've been searching for a solution on the DevForum, but I can't seem to find anything regarding this issue. All parts don't have any spaces, and all of them are in proper positions. Yet it still has these.

Even if I go ahead ang unionize the negative parts, it still has those thingies:

What can I do to fix this problem?

I think it’s because the NegativeUnion is made from more parts that are unioned together?
You could separate the parts, union them, then negative them and see if that works.

I’ve tried that, but it didn’t work

If you can supply just the part in question, we can try to negate it properly ourselves to see what the issue is… it is very hard to see what the issue is from the pictures.

it’s those thin parts you see in the pictures. The really skinny pieces.

This has always been a thing with negating. It’s kind of a bug but not really.

Because you used multiple parts when negating, Roblox thinks the border between the parts is not included with the negated territory.

To solve this, I would import the newly created union into blender and simply remove the unwanted faces.
