New Cloths,Character and Tree Animations (Fluff Puff)

Hey there. Once again I’m looking for feedback and thoughts on my current game (Fluff Puff)

I’ve taken everyone’s feedback from the last post and tried to implement it into this update. There are still some things which I haven’t had the chance to add yet. Also the build style of this game is heavily inspired by The Lorax. If you have any feedback or anything please do comment as I’m appreciative for every bit of feedback I can get. So enough of me rambling lets get into what I’ve made!

New Nerdy/Casual outfit!

New Tuxedo outfit!

New Duck Character!

Remade Trees and Added a sway animation.

Should Trees Sway back and forth?
  • Only some should sway
  • All of them should sway
  • None of them should sway
  • Yes but this would hurt performance

Would you buy access to this game once more features are implemented?
  • Absolutely
  • Probably
  • I might but it’s unlikely
  • Absolutely NOT!

If you’d like to support the development of this project you can buy early access here.

For some reason the clothing / rig doesn’t load for me and it isn’t anchored

The “F to interact” doesn’t work too

Anyways this looks pretty cool good luck working on it!

I love your cartoony style and your characters. But the duck looks a lot like Minecraft’s chicken asset and you might get copyright striked for that for using IP.

I think that the clothes/accessories feature would be a great way to earn revenue. Players could earn currency as rewards for doing (whatever they’re supposed to do) and use that currency on more clothes. Additionally, you could make “VIP only clothes,” and robux only clothes.

Personally, I think that the terrain should be low poly. The trees, characters, etc, are low poly, so why not make the terrain low poly as well? It’ll make the game more vibrant and cartoony.

Hey there. Thanks for pointing these sings out. I’m currently redoing the pickup system as well as the Inventory. Players can’t currently equip clothing or purchase it. I’ll let everyone know once this feature is added. Thanks again!

May I ask, what are the colorful spheres for?

Thanks for pointing that out. For some reason I didn’t think of that. I’ll probably be reworking him or removing him. Thanks again!

I think the “Would you buy access to this game once more features are implemented?” Question isn’t right to ask in this case. I don’t play games for the way they look (though it does help). I play them for the gameplay.

With that out of the way, everything looks really nice.

Thanks for the feedback @alxzile. I’m defenentially planning on making clothing and costmetics a huge part of this game. I originally wanted to follow a low poly style for the terrain however I then ran into some complications when thinking about performance in the long run. I’ll have a Terrain poll on my next post. Thanks again!

The colorful spheres were originally just to get some ideas and won’t be there in the final product.

I love the style and the swaying animation. I believe it’d be better for performance if only trees on screen within a certain radius swayed. I wouldn’t mind personally if the background trees didn’t move until I got closer (especially with the blur, it’d be less noticeable).

Alright, thanks for the clarification!

Haha now that you mention it they do a little.

I think only Trees around the player should sway :palm_tree:

Thanks for the feedback. I’m deferentially going to try and implement trees only swaying near the player in game.

I have a question, will there be other trees? (not reskins of the same tree) an example is one tree has pointy stuff on it and the other one doesn’t.

It looks cute and fun but the duck looks more like Minecraft’s chicken like someone said before.

You could probably make it look more like a duck by extending the neck? idk

Thanks for the feedback. This will probably be added to a future update.

How would I become a member of builders or what ever? But are you going to be making a character customization system, because that would be cool to implement.
