What do you mean by that? Attributes only get applied to the selected Instance

This looks very promising, though I’d like to suggest 1 addition for the future…

I’d personally like to see another one that could act sort of like an extension to string where instead of typing anything in, you can set a list of options to choose from. There can be rare cases where you might want to use a StringValue in place for a setting, but you limit what you can put inside of to certain keywords. As the coder, you may know what to put in (or in case if you forget), but if you’re working with a team of people who may not know then could be a little tiresome to constantly remind them (or yourself) what can and cannot put inside.

This means making our own Enums. This would be cool to have.

Nice. I might not need to use Value objects and forget to type object.ValueName**.Value** anymore

Does this mean that values can be protected from exploiters???

This is great! Adding in key-value table support could honestly cover a lot of ground.

No, This isn’t meant to stop exploiters, it’s a quality of life update for developers

This is very useful! Is there any estimated date on when this will be out of beta?

im just gonna stand around like a quest giver until this releases

If Roblox is getting attributes, will there ever be custom events? They would work like normal object events but you could add them like attributes.

Edit: I just realized that attributes can’t be accessed like normal properties so custom events would probably work like that too.

Will there ever be the possibility to get the pre-existing properties of a Roblox instance? Even though this is still in beta it already has the ability to get a table of the attributes an object has and yet we still can’t get a list of the “normal” properties of an object. I feel that with the release of this update there should be the ability to also access ALL attributes an object has.

Cool! This new update will allow faster & better experience making games!

I’ve been seeing about this for a while but never bothered to look into it, boy am I glad I did this time. LIFE. SAVER!!!

What are you talking about? You didn’t include any use examples of this and I personally don’t see the need for an attribute like this. If the instance class is a BasePart then it already has a CFrame property and there would be no need for another one. Besides, CFrames are tuples, not their own data value type. It’d make more sense to have support to store tuple data because it could support a wider array of uses, including storing CFrame data.

Or setting it to an existing Enum. Also, for future reference, if you support someones post please use the like button instead of a response to them.

Actually amazing, everything will be more clearer now.
