Newly created group with Manual Approval joins shows as owned by me but I do not see it on my profile and cannot manage it

I’m still seeing a join button and unable to manage the group, except now when I look at the group I see 2 members and 2 owners in the dropdown list for roles, but after clicking the owner role in the dropdown I just see me. It’s not visible from my profile. I checked from the phone as well
