I noticed that there is no “Screenshot” option anywhere in the new UI, which makes taking 4k screenshots impossible. Recording is possible using F12, but there is no shortcut for screenshots as far as I can tell. Pretty annoying having to disable the beta just to press 1 button.
You will be able to add it to your custom tabs. In the meantime, you can do it via Quick Open Actions:
Alt + Ctrl + P
for Windows and ⌥ + ⌘ + P
for Mac.
Nice! Maybe this will be helpful:
We have just published a quick getting started guide to custom tabs along with a brief general update on Next Gen Studio. Check it out:
PLEASE make this optional, make a dropdown or sum that lets u choose what years ui to use
- No one wants to support completely different frameworks
- No one wants to make updates for multiple studio versions
- Download size would probably be big
I was just making a Roblox studio plugin that lets you make custom tabs and it creates a json for that
It is cool tho
i make it please check Direct Message’s
Can we please drag the top panels? (Home, Model, Avatar, UI, Script, Plugins) Or there are already plans for it?
It seems that i cant set the move mode back to geometric with this beta
It is still on physical and it wont change even after an restart
There are plans to allow reordering and hiding of tabs. It will be a part of the UI we are starting to build.
Paging @Saphirae_13 because any state persistence requires some settings magic that I don’t fully understand.
Not quite sure what you mean here - For me this works to switch if I click on the “Geometric” part of that button (and clicking back on “Physical” swaps me back to physical)
Odd. It doesnt seem to work for me
Edit: Ok i see it now. Having it set to physical on old ui breaks it completely on the new one
Oh that’s very interesting. I’ll go ahead and file an internal bug for that. Thank you for catching! Does it work if you toggle to physical and back?
Yeah if you have it originally set to geometric then it works like its supposed to
Can you share more details? Is it expanding on it’s own?
