Introduction

This guide will explain all the staff rules/guidelines of Oasis Resort. Whenever you can, please read everything here in order to familiarise yourself with our expectations. You have been selected to be a Staff Assistant because we believe you are able to handle these tasks, and you’re able to follow these elementary things we ask. This applies to your entire journey as a member of the Management Team here.

Section One - General Staff Formalities

Attitude - Middle Ranks should realise the difference between having fun and being unprofessional. Meaning you should not bring any staff lounge banter onto group games where Low Ranks are present, nor should you be joking about with any friends at the resort. When the Low Ranks are no longer present - after a session or in a private server, you may be immature, but to an extent. This means you shan’t be abusing admin commands to your own enjoyment, we selected you for a reason.

Additionally, you are expected to respect everyone who is a member at Oasis Resort, especially the members of the Leadership Team and Presidential Team in this establishment. When you’re asked to do something, do it. We do not tolerate any attitude from our Management Team, otherwise, you are not welcome here, and warnings/terminations will be issued. Therefore, the act of leaking our private channels on Discord to your friends is a punishable offence, and you will be blacklisted from your position, here at Oasis Resort. We also expect you to maintain your excellent behaviour for our relations within the group. Whenever you’re visiting another group, be professional and don’t do anything stupid, people will most likely take screenshots and try and ‘expose’ you. You’re allowed to have fun, just refrain from exploiting, bypassing, or doing anything against Roblox & Discord Terms of Service.

Activity - If you are planning to be away from Oasis Resort for a longer period of time, say 3-4 days, you must submit an Inactivity Notice in the designated channel, #inactivity notices. This notice of inactivity must include a moderately detailed reason and the duration of the suspected period of inactivity. Please note, INs do not excuse you in any way from very substantially long periods of inactivity without any update. You’re just holding up a space for an active Low Rank from joining our team!

Discord Expectations - Although you are a member of our Management Team, our bottom-line expectations remain the exact same as if you were another role in the server. You do not have to use grammatical accuracy in public chats, but you must remain strictly professional as you’re representing the group to the public eye. Moderate swearing is permitted, just like anyone else. But we do not accept any derogatory terms. If we see you using terms that are either homophobic, racist, or just disrespectful to anyone, we will take severe actions.

Staff Attire - As a member of the Management Team at Oasis Resort, we hold quite high expectations for you. You’re required to wear your assigned uniform at any group-related games; it doesn’t have to be a suit nor an expensive dress, it can be ordinary clothing, but please keep in mind that you’re representing Oasis Resort, no bypassed or revealing clothing. We only accept packages that are realistic. Unrealistic packages are not permitted, and it’s at a member of the Leadership Teams discretion whether certain packages are deemed unrealistic. Furthermore, no mixing packages, as that’s generally unprofessional.

Account Safety - As a staff member at Oasis Resort, you are given access to many privileged topics that no one else can access - i.e. admin commands, access to non-public channels, confidential information! Which is why we need to know that all your accounts are 100% secure! We can’t risk someone accessing your accounts, and having free access to everything you worked up for. We recommend you don’t even share your information with friends/siblings, as you should not trust anyone with that information. You will be held responsible for anything that occurs on your account, although it may not necessarily be you!

Grammatical Adequacy - Do not allow yourselves to start slacking with grammar. You’ll receive warnings for it, especially if you’re not correcting mistakes which you’ve clearly made and simply brushed it off. We know people make mistakes, but if it’s intentional, the Leadership Team have a right to hand out warnings/reminders. That being said, we know you’re trying to be as mature as possible but please keep in mind that Roblox is aimed at a younger audience who need to be able to understand what you’re saying, don’t use words that may seem nonsense to our younger players as it’s unneeded.

↬ Section Two - Reminders, Warnings, Terminations & Blacklists ↫

Reminders - These are verbal reminders about extremely minor offences performed at Oasis Resort. An example would be that you’ve just been hired, and you’ve made a small slip-up. These are handed out by the Leadership Team and above.

Warnings - These are logged warnings that will stay with you for your whole career here at Oasis Resort. You will receive these for moderate offences. These are handed out by the Leadership Team and above.

Terminations - A termination is when you are demoted from your position at Oasis Resort, you’re required to work back up again if you would like to re-join our staff team. Once you receive three warnings, the Leadership Team will decide how severe your punishment might be, this could be a termination.

Blacklists - A blacklist is when you are demoted from your position at Oasis Resort, and you are not welcome back. You will be permanently banned from all our group games, and server.

↬ Section Three - Promotions & Demotions ↫

Here at Oasis Resort, we do not free rank individuals. Your rank must be earned, and the Leadership Team will decide whether or not to promote you to the next role in your career. To get promoted, you must work extremely hard and gain activity logs for attending sessions weekly. Every month, we will promote those who are showing activity. Those who go above and beyond will be promoted earlier.

High Ranks have the ability to demote members of the Management Team for any wrong-doings - within reason, using Section Two as a guideline. If you would like to appeal, you may Direct Message a member of the Presidential Team for assistance with anything out of a member of the Leadership Teams power.

↬ Section Four - Use of Admin Commands ↫

Spammers must be kicked from the game straight away - if they continue, it’s a ban.

Exploiters/Hackers must be permanently banned from the game as soon as you see them. Take a screenshot/video and ask a member of the Leadership Team to blacklist them.

Furthermore, the Management Team and above are given administrative commands. You are expected to use your commands properly, and misuse of them will result in termination. Abusing is considered intolerable, and you will be demoted on the spot.

↬ Section Five - Discord Channels ↫

#staff-announcements - This is essentially the most significant channel for you as a member of the Management Team to pay attention to; it holds all the information to keep you up-to-date with the newest staff notices. Staff Announcements should never be leaked, with the most resolute of sanctions being given to those who happen to do this.

#staff-discussion - This is used for serious conversations about Oasis Resort, and notifying other staff if you need anything. For example, if you need help at the resort, you can come here to tag staff members with your request. Moderate reminders and notices can be sent out to members of the Management Team here. As with all staff channels, refrain from leaking.

#staff-lounge - This is the channel where the Management Team+ are free to chit-chat about things that may be unrelated to Oasis Resort. You’re permitted to have banter with other staff, but we request that you never portray anyone in a negative or disrespectful manner. Inappropriate behaviour or leaking will result in severe consequences; Staff Lounge is a private chat.
