No it does not change it keeps being untouched!
Just use one of the Plugin I linked way easier.
Then how can I help my script with a plugin?
Open the command bar and type the saving part with your userid, then use the function I provided with your userid to get the “offline” player data.

It will edit your datastores and you could change the data of ANY player, etc but @msix29 way also works.
