Looks good, you can see an honest improvement here. You should include photos of the original model and then yours. The exterior looks a bit bland but that’s fine. Overall everything looks good, I’d just remove the free models and make your own to add more of your work as people viewing this topic are more interested in what you make and less interested in seeing free models we’ve seen a thousand times. Good placement though.
Okay thank you! I’ll definitely look at the images!
Oh so you want images? I already have them in the game, but I’ll put them here.
I really don’t build that well.
There are some stuff that is great like this:

Made 99% by me (except the letters)
and stuff that are bad:

I sometimes recreate something entirely new, but with the creations from the toolbox:

The main core of creating games is scripting, but I know nothing about that.
Idk, I really want to be a game developer at my childhood game, but I’m not entirely sure if I can actually be one. Well, For now, I’ll keep building from the toolbox because those are for free. Why are they there for? I hope I can learn more about game development so I can build my own models myself
Let me start by saying I have no issue with people using free models. They’re there for inspiration and help and are okay to use when you give credit.
However, the issue comes about when you make a post in Cool creations which is a category that’s used to showcase your work. Coming into this topic I wanted to see your work, not someone elses and all just moved together. What you did wasn’t against the rules, I just expected to see your own work instead of models I’ve seen a thousand times over. It’d be nice to see something original from your own creativity.
It’s okay to be bad at building. That’s why you keep working harder and experimenting! Nobody will ever expect you to be a good builder when you are new. You will never get better at building if you don’t make an effort. I’d love to see your original work and there are a lot of resources for help, you can hire someone or watch youtube videos or even the devforum. I mean, this topic is literally showing off your work and or asking for tips on what to improve with your work. G’luck
Thanks, I appreciate the thought! I really want to improve my building overall, but I still sometimes find it difficult to build something specifically, mostly because my builds are different than what I want to go for. I’ve started practicing low poly builds, like this one, for models which the player never really gets close to. I’m starting slow and easy so I can start doing my own builds! I still have a few years until I can start creating my game for real. This is all practice for when I have my actual builds ready, and position them into the correct place! I always try my best to include more of my builds into the main builds I create. Thanks again!
Here they are!
I tried to upload the carpet decal and put it into a texture, but the carpet has noticeable grids in the carpet.
The kitchen carpet turned out slightly better! I have no idea how to do a carpet, but I tried my best!
Maybe I can change the couch’s carpet with the one in the kitchen so it can look better. XD
I really like the furniture in this model. It seems like you took a lot of time to make this
No he edited free models and put them into the house. But he gave credit.
No, the kitchen is obviously not from me, it’s from StarModelX. I just tweaked them to my liking.
Oh lol i did not read it fully. But still you did a really good job though
Thanks anyway! The thing I actually did was both carpets. Someone asked me to do it
Wow!! I am amazed! This has got to be one of the best modern houses I have ever seen on the inside!
