About Us

Hello, I’m the Director of Orchard Studios, a new team on Roblox looking to innovate the FPS genre. Operation Zero is a strategic first person shooter, similar to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege by Ubisoft Montreal.

About The Job

Each member of the team is required to have a portfolio and experience in their desired field to join. Maturity is accepted, and the minimum age is 13. Being able to communicate over voice channels is recommended, but most definitely not required. We don’t judge based on gender, age, region, or anything else. If you apply for more than one position, you will be based independently on each.

We have a flexible deadline, and are willing to work with each person’s hours.

Payment

At the moment, payment is only through percentage or Apple Pay. I realize this will throw off a lot of developers, but take in account the falling of the FPS genre and how the monetization can easily pay off in the long run.

We’ve found a UI designer and Asset Creator, still looking for an people who can do Environment Design, Programming, and Building.

This is slightly vague, as a builder myself, I would want more examples of roblox games for reference, also still-frame images work wonders as well.

Watching a rainbow six siege video doen’t give me much to go off of other than the fact that you want a well textured house.

Yep, I definitely understand. I’ll showcase more examples to builders in DMs.

Personally I think feel that the percentages (given the rainbow-six siege quality of the build) that the builder should be earning much more than 20%, I’d put it at at least 40%. And regarding the positions, why would you need a environment designer? for the most part a builder can handle that. I’d also recommend saving only around 10% advertising, because if you’re game is good enough you shouldn’t have a problem attracting investors, as well as that the other 20% could be divided upon other positions.

If I remember correctly their is already a game on the platform called squadron, so it would be smart to start brainstorming new ideas. Squadron - Roblox
Maybe a name like, blazing guns or tactical mayhem, will suit the game better.:roblox:

I agree, but the builder is really only being tasked with the core build (no assets, no foliage, just building and texturing). The environmental designer will be making the outside come to life, and the asset creator will help decorate the beautiful insides. Builders are free to apply for multiple jobs. We also don’t want to rely on an investor to keep us going, we will most likely use one in the start, but definitely not in the future. We have raised percentage for building, so thanks for the suggestion!
