Hi! A couple of weeks ago I started occasionally crashing while trying to join games, then experiencing around 3-second lag spikes whenever I try opening the settings menu, and generally just experiencing random second-long lag spikes while playing.
I opened the microprofiler and noticed this each time:
ah lately i’ve been getting a bug then when i sometimes interact with gui/ui that my game just crashes, hope there can be a fix to this
possible cause: outdated roblox launcher? (i alr tried but didnt help)
possible fix: maybe deinstall and reinstall by downloading the newest version?
You should provide a microprofiler dump file, as well as logs in a private message linked here.
We’ve had a user report a issue like this in our game.
Turns out the root cause was a software webcam from sony imaging edge.
I’d recommend going through device manager and try disabling any software “webcams” you may have to find the problem maker.
