I’ve had this issue as well. It seems to be a Roblox bug, temporary solution is to handle the deaths and respawning on your own, but that shouldn’t be a permanent solution.

A year later and they still need to fix this. Especially since most games are becoming more realistic, something like this is extremely difficult to deal with.
