Players Have Found a Chat Filter Bypass

Earlier while I was playing a game, I noticed that people were bypassing the chat filter by using >. I have seen this in many games but here is an example of it (i’m gonna blur most of it out to not get banned from the DevForum). What I want to know is how are people so easily able to bypass the chat filter by just using a >?

Expected behavior

The text should have been completely filtered no matter what.

It has already been reported here

Honestly, it is taking way too long to fix.
It is expected to have duplicates when they take so long!

Here’s my fix for this:

Hi, I’m not a developer forum moderator, I’m just a fellow user looking out for another fellow user, but I’d recommend deleting this post since I have already made a post about it, you can view here. What would actually help the engineers fix this faster, is by bumping my post since it was the original to post about this new method. Plus your post might get deleted as it would be counted as a duplicated topic.

I didn’t know that anyone else made any posts. I didn’t see any so I assumed it was safe enough to report about it.

Yeah, I have already mentioned that here.

Why does it take this long for them to fix this issue anyway :joy:

I woudl recommend deleting this post and replying to mine to boost it so engineers see it.
