So, I’m working on a game based in New York City with a friend, and we are going to add the current World Trade Center Complex, however I know that that is fine, but is adding the Memorial Pools fine? There wont be any mentions of 9/11, however I was wondering if having the Memorial Pools is okay, they are two pools in real life meant to memorialize the tragedy of 9/11, again there wont be any mention of 9/11. Is this okay?

i really dont think it matters if theres no reference to it
i mean there is literally a twin towers game that is up and making money right now
yet they refuse to moderate the wtc game i was talking about which has been up and making bank for 4 years now (if you count the old game)
roblox clearly does not care if you make games that mention it
My guy, if it’s written in the terms of service, then you should NOT make it. And what you mentioned is just them failing to moderate something, however that still doesn’t mean they allow it.
Sure, you could just go ahead and make it, but you have to accept the risk that your game and accounts are going to be terminated, resulting in you having wasted precious time of your life.
ofc i never said he should or should not make it, but if roblox truly does not care about a game thats made literally hundreds of thousands of robux off of the wtc which i know is not set in 911 directly, but people make jokes about it all the time
the entire game is literally making money off of peoples deaths and roblox wont do anything about it especially after the game was reported multiple times. If you are going to do it tread lightly because who knows what roblox is doing at this point.
And there’s your issue. You should discourage him from adding a memorial to the game, because it runs the risk of getting him terminated.
I agree, it’s abhorrent, and roblox should take the game down right away.
i did reworded that, i never said either of it. I am neutral on these kinds of things anyway because it is very hard to tell what is a violation of the community guidelines or not in this situation
