Tried that, it just yeets the tram out of the map.
Then use a bodyposition and a bodygyro, I think it should work.
I tested out a part with body velocity, and I couldn’t slow down the part significantly. I don’t think trams slowing down should be a concern.
That kinda works, however players can still block it by standing in front of it.
I mean, wouldn’t using collision groups and add all of the plsyer’s characters and all of the scooters to the group, and then disabling the collisions for that group work? Therefore, the scooters still act normally, except players can walk through them.
Maybe turn off player collisions? (I mean collision groups )
Problem is i need the collisions on
well you can’t move something thats stuck and can’t be unstuck (unless god unachors it), can ya?
Yeah sorry about that. I thought somebody could ride the vehicle. If that’s the case, just anchor it when nobody is riding it, and if somebody is, just unanchor.
This seems like just an issue of the model itself. A scooter is very different from a tram so the results you will get from a player pushing a scooter versus pushing a tram will likewise also be very different. A tram is much larger and has more area and mass than a simple scooter.
I recommend waiting until you have your tram model finished and rigged before applying physics to it, then return to your thread if players are able to push the tram model. As it stands now, this question isn’t useful to answer because the circumstances will differ with a larger model.
Hi, the wheels are allready there, just invisible. The scooter is just a massless model.
Well using my method would disable collisions between the character and the scooter, which means the scooter will still stay on the ground. If you for some reason want collisions between characters and scooters, than you would be better off anchoring it, and cframeing it along the path instead.
Perhaps anchor it when no one is using it.
and make it’s velocity 0
–im aware I copied the answer from the other post, but it seems like none if u are mentioning it.–
