Problem with datastore2

When im shutdowning servers i have “Player has been removed from the DataModel (Error Code: 291)” message.

Because this my soft shutdown script doesn’t work.
(script works in other games that dont use datastore2)

Can someone help?

This error happens when the player parent changes from something other than game.Players
It might just be another issue with another script.

DataStore2 setting player parent to nil on shutdown all servers

I’m glad that helped you even tho it was 2 years ago but I would recommend updating your datastore2 module script since i’m pretty sure they’ve already fixed that.

Moreover, I would recommend switching over to profile service instead, it’s much better from my experience with datastore!
