The trails are set in every character’s part. Well, I recommend you to create the texture for yourself…
Thanks! I appreciate that but, that’s what I wasn’t looking for, sorry!!
Yeah, I know the trails are set in every character’s part that’s what I was trying to say but, I don’t know how did he get those amazing trails…
make an image in some software that supports transparency and layers, then export it as a PNG and upload to roblox as a decal, set the Trail’s texture to the decal.
Well, I can see that his color is changing, so… I guess you could use Number Sequence
How would I do that? Thanks! <3
You can look on Google for tutorials on how to create textures for trails or try the attachment method yourself. I don’t think you need to be instructed that in order to make a texture you require an image editing program and you need to create a trail using the tools it provides.
Attempt first, ask afterward. This category is not a venue for you to have people do your work for you; please do not treat it as such.
I’d suggest what the others above have said:
Check tutorials at Platform Overview | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub
Create your own trail image using Paint.net or some other imaging program.
Also, just mess around with each of the settings of your created trail while in Studio while you are Playing. You can change the Transparency, Color(s) etc. by clicking on each of the settings and a graphic window should pop up where you can change the values according to how far into the time the image is visible.
It’s so much easier to have a Trail image set up with all the variables set, that you can turn on and off with a script, rather than recreating the entire Trail trying to use the script settings each time.
What’s the size of the trail? Should I create?
Have you ever made a decal before? Just do that. Upload your image as a decal. I’ve never put a decal into body parts before, but you could save the image in the game and then copy it into your body part/parts from there.
Try placing a Trail into a model car in Studio, then play with the settings to get used to what each does. You can do it while you are in Play mode to see what each change does.
I used it for fading wheel tracks on my 8x8 suspension car in a test place. This place is no longer - Roblox
