In order to fill positions, there must be a system for the promotion of excelling management members, and demotion of failing members.
Unlike rising through the ranks of the sales team, the management team has no specific or set points to reach to gain another rank. Instead, members are promoted on a number of factors:
- Activity
- Performance
- Dedication
- Overall attitude towards the group and other staff members
And many more small factors that are too numerous to be named into a comprehensive list.
Promotions will come when a position needs staffing, such as an open position like an empty executive assistant role, or a need for another general manager.
Demotions will come when a member of the management team is failing to perform in many of their responsibilities. This could be failing to meet activity requirements, acting unprofessionally, or acting immaturely constantly. etc.
Isolated instances of this behavior are understandable, as everybody is expected to make mistakes. However, repeated mistakes cause issues that cannot be overlooked.
